Why cannot I add a web page on Windows 7 to my favorites?
When you browse a webpage, you will add some webpages you like or will use again to favorites to facilitate the next visit, however, some users recently reported that they cannot add webpages to favorites in WIN7. Why? The following describes the cause and solution of the problem.

Cause Analysis: in many cases, the website cannot be added to the favorites folder due to an error in the directory pointing to the favorites folder. We can fix it in the registry.

1. Click "run" in the Start Menu, enter "regedit", and press Enter;



2. Open the Registry Editor and expand [HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/UserShell Folders. As shown in



3. Find Favorites in the right pane. This is the directory specified by the FAVORITES folder of win7 system. Double-click it and change the value to [% USERPROFILE % \ Favorites]
