Why does the computer Recycle Bin empty and show full state

This problem is mostly caused by optimized changes to the desktop icons. This sticky behavior occurs after you click Restore Defaults to reset the desktop icon.

Workaround:

( small tip : In the Desktop Icon Settings window will display the Recycle Bin (full) and Recycle Bin (empty) icon, even if they are all correct, please do not use the following steps to do an icon corresponding operation. )

In Windows7/vista, right-click the desktop space and choose Personalize .

In the upper-right corner of the window, click Change Desktop Icon .

[In Windows XP: Right-click the desktop space, select properties . In the Properties window, switch to the Desktop tab and click the Customize Desktop button. ]

Select the Recycle Bin (full)icon and click the Change Icon button.

Select an icon from the list that corresponds to the Recycle Bin (full) , press the OK button to save the settings, and then exit the window.

Similarly, next, select the Recycle Bin (empty)icon, and then click Change Icon button . In the Change Icon window, select an icon that corresponds to the Recycle Bin (empty) and press OK to save it.

When you have completed both of these steps, click OK to make the changes take effect.
