Analysis Reason:

  1. On hyper-threaded single-processor hosts, virtual machines with virtual SMP may not be able to achieve normal performance levels. Even on multiprocessor hosts, virtual machine performance can be impacted if you run multiple workloads, causing overall CPU resource requirements to exceed physical resource limits.

  2. When configuring a virtual machine processor, it is recommended to set only the number of processors, the number of cores per processor, depending on the physical host configuration, and if you tick disable binary conversion acceleration, virtualized Intel vt-x/ept or Amd-v/rvi or virtualized CPU performance counters will cause the virtual system CPU to be high.
