Why Tomcat cannot be started

Source: Internet
Author: User

A few days ago, the newly installed machine encountered the problem that Tomcat could not be started.

This problem has also been encountered before, that is, port 8080 is occupied. If Oracle is installed, XDB occupies port 8080.

But this is not the case. I changed the Oracle port at the time, but it still didn't work. Later I tried tomcat5.0 and 5.5 again, but it couldn't work. This can be an emergency for me, there are no new solutions for searching on the Internet. What should I do? At this moment, I suddenly thought that our company's network is using proxy. Is it a proxy problem? When I asked my colleagues, it was a proxy problem. Check "do not use proxy locally" on the proxy option. You can solve this problem by checking it.

I wrote it down today. Some friends may encounter this problem and hope to help you.
