In order for the wireless router to work correctly as specified, we often need to log on to its backend admin interface through Web Access before using the device, and make appropriate settings for its Internet parameters. Generally speaking, ordinary users only need to modify the user name and password in the background, and follow the instructions to install and use the wireless router; But in the actual Internet access process, we may often encounter wireless router background management interface can not log on the phenomenon, This way we will not be able to properly configure the parameters of the Internet, wireless routers will not be able to provide us with "services." When the wireless router is unable to sign in, where should we start, find the real mystery that causes the wireless router to be unable to log in, and take measures to deal with the problem in time?

Wireless router Normal logon process

Before unlocking the mysteries of the wireless router, it is necessary to understand the background login process of the wireless router first.

When we first log on to the wireless router, we have to do the physical connection operations related to the wireless router:

First of all, the ADSL modem device is connected to the WAN port of the wireless router, and then the common twisted pair connects the LAN port of the wireless router with the normal workstation. After completing the physical connection operation, we go to the Windows system interface of the normal workstation and open the system's TCP/IP property Settings window in the interface, and select the "Automatically obtain IP Address" item (shown in the following figure).

So that the workstation can automatically obtain the IP address from the wireless router, then we find the device's default management IP address from the wireless router operating instructions, finally open the common workstation's IE browser window, and the wireless router default management IP address is filled in the Address bar, click Enter, It is often possible to open the background login interface of the wireless router.

However, in some special cases, although the normal workstation has obtained a valid IP address from the wireless router, but in the attempt to use the IP address to access the wireless router's background login interface, IE browser is always pop-up unable to open the page error, carefully check the wireless router, ADSL When the physical connection between modem and normal workstation is not found, what is wrong with connection error or improper connection?

In the exclusion of physical connectivity factors, resulting in wireless routers can not log on the main reason there are two, one is ADSL modem device IP address and wireless router IP address conflict, the other is the Internet Explorer itself improperly set up, resulting in the normal access to the target Site page.

Check the IP address for conflicting behavior

The IP address conflict here refers to the collision phenomenon caused by the IP address of the ADSL modem device and the IP address of the wireless router. Some of the mainstream wireless routers on the market are often using the IP address of 192.168.1.1 In the default state, and now most dial-up users are using the ADSL modem device on hand, Its default management IP address is also 192.168.1.1, when the user uses common twisted pair IP address of the same ADSL modem equipment and wireless router directly connected together, will produce a communication loop phenomenon, so that ordinary workstations can as usual from the wireless router to obtain a valid IP address, However, because of the internal address conflict phenomenon, we are often unable to ping directly through the wireless router.

Considering that most ordinary Internet users in the use of wireless routers, often directly through the ADSL device and computer interconnection dial-up Internet access, ADSL modem equipment use of the default management IP address at this time does not have an impact on dial-up Internet, so when the wireless router and ADSL When problems arise with the direct interconnection of modem equipment, most people subconsciously think that the problem is definitely caused by the wireless router itself, and it is not.

When we will use the same default IP address of the wireless router with the ADSL modem devices directly connected together, and the phenomenon of communication loops, the first thing we have to do is to the wireless router and ADSL modem equipment from the physical connection line, separated, Then try to get the wireless router's Internet parameters back to the default factory value.

When you restore the wireless router's Internet access parameters to their default values, you can follow these steps:

First the wireless router device to the normal power supply, and then gently press the device Control Panel in the "Reset" button and continue the state for about 15 seconds, then disconnect the wireless router device power input, after a period of time to reconnect power to start the wireless router device, As a result, the operating parameters of the device are forced to revert to the default factory state.

Until the wireless router's operating parameters are restored to its default state, we should first let the wireless router device connect directly with the computer, instead of having it directly connected to the ADSL modem device, and then execute the start/Run command in the computer directly connected to the wireless router, In the system Run dialog that pops up, the input string commands "Ipconfig/release", and when you click Enter, you can release the dynamic IP address that the current workstation is bound to, and then open the System Run dialog again and enter the string command "ipconfig/ Renew command, so that the local computer can obtain a new IP address from the wireless router.

Once the local workstation obtains a new IP address, we may as well ping the wireless router device by pinging it, indicating that the connection between the local computer and the wireless router is normal if you can ping the device directly. After that, we can open the IE browser window in the local computer system, and enter "http://192.168.1.1" directly in the address bar of the window, then we can open the background login page of the wireless router, and enter the default username and password to enter the Admin page.

Considering that the wireless router will eventually have to connect with the ADSL modem equipment to work, so in order to prevent the IP address of the wireless router again and ADSL modem device IP address conflict, we need here to the wireless router's default IP address for a change, In order to avoid the future occurrence of address conflicts.

Changing the IP address operation is also very simple, we only need to find the LAN IP address setting option in the Wireless Router Admin page, and then adjust the IP address of the wireless router to "192.168.10.1" at the corresponding settings, and set the IP address range of the device to " 192.168.10.2~192.168.10.51 ", after completing the modification of the IP address, restart the wireless router system, and perform the" Ipconfig/release "command and" ipconfig "again in the System Run dialog box on the local computer. Renew "command to update the IP address of the local computer in a timely manner, if we find that the IP address of the local computer is" 192.168.10.x ", then the IP address adjustment operation of the wireless router is already in effect.

Now we will be able to reconnect with the ADSL modem equipment directly together, so that the wireless router IP address and ADSL modem device IP address will not conflict phenomenon, at this time we try to log in to the wireless router's background management interface will probably be successful.

According to the same reason, if the wireless router and other network equipment directly interconnected, as long as their IP address is the same, then there will be a conflict of IP address, so it is easy to be unable to log on to the wireless router background management interface phenomenon, encountered this phenomenon, we just follow the previous operating ideas, Adjusting the wireless router's default IP address will solve the problem.

Check IE browser settings for errors

When the wireless router and ADSL modem equipment Physical connection is normal, if we use ping on the local computer to ping the wireless router, but in this state can still not log into the wireless router's background management interface, then we need to check the Internet Explorer's own setup problem.

When checking the setting state of IE Browser, we can click the "Tools"/"Internet Options" command in the IE browser Window menu bar, click the "Connect" tab in the Internet Options Settings dialog box, and, on the corresponding tab settings page, check the "Never Dial Connection" If the item is selected, we must select it again if it is not selected.

After that, click the LAN Settings button on the LAN settings, open the parameter setting interface shown in the following figure, check that the proxy function in the interface is enabled, and if it is enabled, we must cancel it in time, and then click OK. It is believed that the wireless router's background management interface will be able to access the normal.
