The Windows me/xp screen saver makes a screensaver of the pictures that are stored in my Documents. However, this feature is not available in other versions of Windows operating systems. Do you want to migrate this feature to Windows 2003? Follow the steps below to make it OK.
First step: In the Windows Me X:\Windows\system folder, locate the IMAGING. DLL file and the Picture Collection screen saver. scr file, and then copy it to the Flash memory (where x is the disk character of the partition on the Windows Me System).
The second step: The Flash in the "IMAGING." DLL file and the Picture Collection screen saver. scr file are copied to the Windows 2003 X:\Windows\system32 folder.
Step three: Open the Notepad program in Windows 2003 and enter the following:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[hkey_classes_root\clsid\{327
ABDAB-2E5F-11D0-8B85-00AA0044F941}\INPROCSERVER32]
@= "F:\\windows\\system\\imaging.dll"
"ThreadingModel" = "both"
Save this document as "Addscreensavers.reg" by Venkuris a row or by returning to the car.
Fourth step: Double-click the "Addscreensavers.reg" file and import it into the registry.
Fifth step: Back to the Windows 2003 desktop, right-click, select "Properties" in the menu. The "Picture Collection screen saver" option appears in the Screen Saver tab of the Display Properties window that pops up. What are you waiting for, just try it!
