To view the VMnet8 status of a virtual network, you must enable DHCP.

Open VMnet8 and remember the IP address 192.168.226.128 -- 192.168.226.254 that it can allocate. Note that the third digit 226 is different in different environments. The gateway address is 192.168.226.2.
