Microsoft sued Microsoft in a court of law by using positive technology to promote WIN10 free upgrades, which some users were unprepared for, and some claimed that the "aggressive" promotion model seriously affected their normal work and life.

Microsoft has recently faced two new lawsuits for the WINDOWS10 update strategy, one of which has been filed with the Florida District Court, where Microsoft has been accused of violating the FTC's ruling on deception and misconduct. The other was in Haifa, Israel, where Microsoft was accused of installing the WINDOWS10 system without the user's permission. Microsoft was very confident about the charges, saying the plaintiffs ' accusations were unfounded and believed they would win in court .

However, the previous lawsuit did not follow Microsoft's "self-confidence" to develop. In June 2016, a woman from California won a lawsuit for a Microsoft Windows10 escalation case and received $10,000 in compensation, and Microsoft did not appeal. Still, Microsoft denies that it is at fault, saying that it is not appealing in order to avoid the costs of future lawsuits .

Now that Microsoft offers a win7/win8.1 free upgrade WIN10 activity is nearing its end, users in China will no longer enjoy the benefits of free upgrades after 23:59:59 on 29th , so the so-called "radical escalation" of Microsoft's wrong would eventually become history.
