WIN10 GPT partitioning the hard disk using the DiskPart tool

Method:

1, first we need to download a good Win10 ISO image into the system to install USB disk/CD

2. Then we need to go to the motherboard BIOS setup interface and set boot mode to UEFI boot.

3. Then set the first boot device to a USB flash drive or optical drive. You can enter the familiar Windows Installer interface by starting your computer after you insert a USB flash drive or a CD-ROM into your prepared system.

4. Press SHIFT + F10 to open the Command Prompt window (some notebooks may need to hold down the FN key at the same time). Enter the DiskPart command and return to open the Microsoft DiskPart Partition tool.

5. Enter the list disk command and return to the current computer installed hard disk information, the number of the hard drive is postponed from 0 onwards. If you want to partition the first hard drive, enter the command select disk 0 and enter so that the first hard drive is selected.

6, then enter the clean command to clear the original partition on the hard disk, of course, it also clears all the data on the hard disk, so before the operation of this article, please back up the hard drive important data to other hard disk or USB drive.

7. Then enter the convert GPT command and return to the current selected hard drive to GPT format.

8. Then we can create the EFI partition, the MSR partition, and the primary partition in turn by executing the following command in turn:

create partition EFI size=200

create partition MSR size=200

Create partition primary size=40960

Note: The size values of the above three partitions can be modified by themselves, in megabytes.

9. We can run the list partition command to view the partition information that has been created.

10, now we have completed the GPT partition of the hard disk, of course, only one can install the WIN10 system of the primary partition, as for the other partitions, we can wait for the system after the installation is complete, using the system's own disk management tools to carry out
