Like win7/win8.1 systems, WIN10 automatically monitors network availability and displays a yellow exclamation point on the network icon in the lower-right corner notification area when the network cable is not available. As shown in the following illustration:
But sometimes when we are using a special network, such as using a special agent or filtering, even if the network is normal, there may still be an exclamation point, and can not be eliminated, at this time, try the following method to remove this tag:
• Press Win+r to open the run, enter regedit carriage return, open Registry Editor;
Note: There is a risk of modifying the registry, before operation you can use the Soft magic cube (click this download) in the cleanup master back up the registry.
• Navigate to the following registry location:
Hkey_local_machine\software\policies\microsoft\windows\network connections
• Create a new DWORD value named Nc_donotshowlocalonlyicon on the right, and double-click to change its value to 1;
• Close the registry, reboot the resource Manager (you may need to reboot the system), and then the exclamation mark on the network icon disappears, as shown in the following illustration:
