Win10 How to erase the hard drive deleted files completely?
Action method:
This feature is present in Windows XP, Win7, Win8.1, and Win10, and the system has a command-line tool named Cipher, which uses EFS to encrypt file systems to encrypt files. However, this tool also has an additional feature that can be used to erase the rest of the space on the hard disk, thereby safely removing the deleted files contained in the remaining space. The tool uses a very simple method, as follows:
1. Enter CMD in the Start menu or taskbar search box, find a command prompt in the search results, right-click, and choose to run as Administrator.
2. Enter the following command at the command prompt to run the carriage return:
Cipher/w:c
The final letter "C" represents the partition letter, modified as needed. You'll just have to wait patiently, as shown in the following figure:
To erase data, the tool performs three tasks sequentially: first, cover the remaining space with the 0x00, then overwrite the remaining space with the data 0xFF, and then use the random data to erase. It takes some time to complete the process, depending on the size of the disk's remaining space.
Is it very simple? In addition, if your file has not been manually deleted, you can use the software in the Rubik's cube of the file master to smash it, the file master will also use random, blank and other data to erase the file, which requires a single file to erase when the efficiency is higher. As shown in the following illustration:
