Two tips for Word auto-restore features:

1.Word time saving file function has certain limitations, only valid for DOC format file, if it is other format files can not be saved. So when you edit a document, it's a good idea to save the document in Word format, edit it, and save it as another format.

2. The "AutoRecover" feature does not equal the normal document save. If the recovery file is not set, the file will be deleted when it is closed and the files that are not saved will be lost. If you set the Save recovery file, it replaces the original document after you close the file.
