In the daily use of computers, we will often encounter network failures, and network failure is characterized by complex and consistent causes, so it is difficult to solve. This paper summarizes some win7/win8.1 of the wireless network under the limited fault solution, for everyone to try:
Train of thought one: Check network and router signal is unblocked
First of all, verify that the network is not a fee, the wireless router line connection is good, wireless network signal launch is normal.
If you determine the problem with the router, you may wish to reboot the router or restore the router's settings to factory status.
Also, if you can, update the wireless router firmware and the computer's wireless network adapter driver for the latest version.
IDEA Two: Check Network Service status
Press Winkey+r to start the run, and type "services.msc" to start the Service Management window. Verify the status of network services, such as DNS client, DHCP client, and IP helper (default is on), and then restart the computer.
Train of thought three: Check IP address and DNS server address
1, right click on the taskbar to the right wireless network icon, select "Open Network and Sharing Center" (also can be found in the Control Panel);
2, in the Network and Sharing Center window, click to view the active network in the state right of the "connection";
3, in the WLAN status window, select "Properties";
4. Double-click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPV4) in "This connection uses the following items";
5, confirm the required IP address and DNS server address input is correct, after the change is completed, press "OK" exit (the default is automatic acquisition). For a wireless network that has a binding IP address and DNS server address, enter the specified IP address and DNS server address.
Idea four: Use the system's built-in diagnostics tool
The system's own wireless network diagnostics function is very good, it can locate network problems and give partial repair.
To enable the diagnostic tools built into the system, simply select Diagnostics in the above WLAN status window and then follow the steps.
IDEA Five: Reset network connection
Run the command prompt as an administrator and enter the following command:
netsh INT IP RESET
netsh WINHTTP RESET PROXY
Ipconfig/flushdns
After each line is finished, press ENTER to confirm that the network connection can be reset after the execution completes.
IDEA Six: Reset Winsock
Small series has mistakenly deleted the registry Winsock key values cause network connection hint Limited, so when the network is normal, backup registry just in case.
Position of Winsock key value:
Hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetserviceswinsock
Hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetserviceswinsock2
You can also reset Winsock by using a command prompt (run as an administrator):
netsh winsock reset
