Win7 IIS7 FTP Configuration

1. First install the FTP server
Start menu Find Control Panel on the left to find open or close Windows features click
The following dialog box pops up,
In the popup dialog box, locate the Internet Information Service, as follows
Then, as shown, select the FTP server check box, if your IIS is not installed at this point, you can select the check box in front of IIS6, and then OK, wait a few minutes to install, this is the first step, if FTP and IIS is not installed, the following work cannot be done.
2. Create an FTP user
This step is also very critical, find my computer on the desktop, right-click, select Manage, pop up the following interface
Locate the Local Users and groups on the left, click Open, then locate the user, select the new user by right-clicking,
Create FTP user after clicking New user
According to fill in, and then click Create, this step of the FTP user is created, you need to add users to the FTP Rights Management Group, the following to add permissions to the FTP user just created
3. FTP User Add permissions
In the previous step after creating the FTP user, the right side will appear the user just created, select the user right click, properties, and then pop up

Add the FTP user to the Administrator group, this step is very critical, otherwise unable to log on to the FTP server, the following need to create an FTP site, users upload and download
4. Create an FTP site
Now that the IIS,FTP server is OK, locate Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager in the Control Panel Administration Tools service, and then double-click Open, as

Click Next when you are finished filling out
After this step is finished, click Finish, the entire above is the FTP server Setup completed, the following need to test whether OK
5. Use the FTP tool to connect to the FTP server you just created for upload testing
I use the 8uftp.exe here is a free, green version, I think it is more useful, has been used
