Many times, the force of habit is powerful, when you are accustomed to something, unless the last resort, the general will not take the initiative to change it. Even more so for the operating system, when we use XP for many years, almost completely accustomed to its interface menu layout, operating methods and so on. At this point, if there is a new system to replace it, it is best not to change too much, at least on the surface can not go too far, otherwise the user accept it will be greatly reduced speed, or even completely ignore it.

Unfortunately, Vista is just such a negative paradigm that too many new things are hard for users to accept, not to mention the poor backward compatibility when it comes out. Vista has not been able to shake XP, but for more than 2 years, Vista has left a lot of impressions, so it's not that bad for Windows 7 today, it's more of a curiosity to try it. Just because of the habit, a lot of people will try to change the Windows 7 settings and hope it is more like XP.

For example, when you double-click My computer in the XP era, you will see individual disk drives and control panels, and the top desktop will see icons for your Network Places, Recycle Bin, and so on.

In Windows 7, the Recycle Bin and Control Panel icons are really missing, and the Control Panel icon is moved below the address bar and replaced with text, and the Recycle Bin icon seems to disappear completely in the explorer.

In fact, these two icons may not be used by you at all, but after you lose them, you will feel uncomfortable and want to retrieve both icons? No problem, just a few seconds to get them back. Open the organization menu in the upper-left corner of the computer, click Folders and search options, check the two options under Navigation Pane, and then finalize.

Now go back to "computer" and look at the list on the left, the desktop, the Control Panel, the Recycle Bin appear. In addition to the relative independence of the library, personal Folders, computers, networks, etc. belong to the desktop, is not the feeling of XP it?
