Under the Win7 system, the file location is assumed to be the desktop:
1. After renaming a file, sometimes the file name is also the original filename, open again, the item cannot be found, the content is empty, but the file is displayed on the desktop;
2. After deleting a file, the file is also displayed on the desktop and deleted again, indicating that the item could not be found
The display is normal when refreshed.
Possible reasons given on-line:
1. The graphics driver is not installed correctly
2. The system itself does not automatically refresh the desktop
Workaround:
Run regedit, in [Key_local_machine\software \microsoft\windows\cur Rentversion\explorer], in the right pane, create a new named "Max Cached Icons" String value, setting its value to "2048" or 4096 is large enough to take up too much system memory, which is generally set to 2048 (accounting for memory 2M) is sufficient. Reboot the system (same as restarting the Explorer.exe process) and it will be effective.
