Win7 shared printer offline Solution

Symptom:

When a shared printer is used to print documents, the printer does not respond.

View the printer queue and print the content.

No response is returned when the test page is printed.

The local network connection is normal.

The printer and the printer server (PC) are connected normally, and the printer server can print normally.

Printer status is displayed offline

Cause:

The printer login credential is lost.

Solution:

Click Start Menu> Computer> network, find the print server, double-click to log on again, and enter the user name and password. You are advised to save the credential so that you can log on again next time.

Then, in Microsoft Office (such as Word), check whether the status in the text brackets of the printer icon changes to ready (it may take a while to change). When the status changes to ready, you can print it normally.
