Method One:

3, export this key value to do backup;
4, with Notepad to open just the registry, using the lookup function to find Internet Explorer, you can see the control number is {b416d21b-3b22-b6d4-bbd3-bbd452db3d5b} (may be different machine number, so to trouble);
5, find the corresponding control number, delete this key value, so OK.
Method Two: Prohibit the display of IE icon in Group Policy
1, in the operation of the input gpedit.msc carriage return;
2, turn on "User Configuration"-----"Administrative Templates"-----"desktop", and then on the right to set the list of features to select "Hide the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop";
3, change the current status to "Enabled", and then log off or restart the system;
