When a user modifies permissions on multiple files or folders, it is found that there is no Security tab in the property bar, which makes it impossible to modify them. How do we solve this problem? In fact, we can say to its bulk operation, can save a lot of time.
Method One:
1, through the way of command, first use the Administrator user Login system, and then open a command Prompt window, in the command-line program to enter the ICACLS command of the folder or file permissions to make changes, and the command also supports the folder or file permission settings to restore;
Example:
Icacls c:windows*/save aclfile/t to save ACLs for all files under C:windows and subdirectories to AclFile;
icacls file/grant Administrator: (D,WDAC) will grant users admin rights to delete files and write to the DAC;
Icacls file/grant *s-1-1-0: (D,WDAC) will grant the user defined by Sid s-1-1-0 the right to delete and write the DAC to the file;
icacls c:windows/restore AclFile will restore ACLs for all files in AclFile that exist under c:windows and subdirectories;
More usage and information about the ICACLS command can be viewed using ICACLS/? On the command line.
Method Two:
1. Because the permissions on a folder or file in a Windows system are inherited by default, the permissions that are applied to the parent folder are also inherited by the Quilt folder and the files in it, so you want to change the permissions of the batch, Users can place folders and files that need to be modified in a new folder, right-click the new folder, and choose Properties.
2, and then open the interface, switch to the "Security" tab, and then you can modify the folder permissions, the modified limit will be all the subfolders and their contained file application;
3, after the modification is completed, you can move the folders and files to the original storage path to save it.
