Failure phenomenon:
Intel (R) RST service is the Intel Fast Storage service, Intel RAPIDST, which delivers higher performance and reliability for desktop, mobile, and server platform systems with SATA disks. When using one or more SATA disks, you can benefit from improved performance and reduced power consumption. With multiple disks, you can increase the protection of data loss when disk fails, and you need to open AHCI mode in the BIOS before installing Intel fast storage service. Many computer users will find that Intel (R) Rapid status is not running when they turn on, and right click on the Intel Quick Storage Technology Center will prompt the application not to open, please reinstall or reboot.
Workaround:
1, need to confirm the motherboard BIOS in the working mode of the hard disk, a single hard drive to be set into AHCI, multiple disk optional set to RAID or AHCI;
2, right key desktop computer icon---management---services and applications---services, or use the Wiindows logo key +r key combination, open the Run window, enter services.msc command, open the service window;
3, find the Intel (r) Fast storage technology, double-click Open is generally Chinese display, if not found in Chinese please find Intel (r) Rapid Storage Technology;
4, in the Intel Fast Storage Technology Properties window, the Startup type is modified to automatic, if the service status is stopped, click Start to start the service-application-OK;
Note: If you have installed a third party computer butler, such as 360 security guards, please go to the computer Butler's power-on accelerator to set the Intel Fast Storage Startup Project (Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology) to power-on, not intercept.
