Win7 under MongoDB installation Initial configuration

First, download www. MongoDB . org

Second, installation

Download it and unzip it in a directory without spaces, my directory is D:\Program files\mongodb\

Then Windows starts typing cmd, choosing Cmd.exe right-click to run as administrator (this is important, because if the default user is not a super administrator then there is no way to install MongoDB as a service)

Then switch to the installation directory \ Bin directory below

Then enter: Mongod--logpath "D:\Program Files\mongo

Db\server\3.0\data\log\mongodb.log "--logappend--dbpath" D:\Program Files\mongo

Db\server\3.0\data\db "--servicename" MongoDB "–install

This allows MongoDB to be installed as a service.

Here's what to note:

1. The LogPath parameter is not a directory but a log file name.

2, the command inside the directory and files must exist, whether the implementation will be error.

Third, start

After the command executes the service is established, but it is not started. You can go to the system service to find it (the service name is said servicename the corresponding parameters).

If not found in the service, then please refer to the second step as a super administrator after the operation.
