A few days ago inadvertently found that Win7 hardware driver in a call Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter, from the Internet, can be used to form a temporary network, sharing the Internet. A wireless card can only be connected to one wireless network, so Windows virtual out a wireless card to form a temporary network to act as an AP. Simply put, you can use your mobile phone to connect to your laptop and then connect to the Internet via your laptop.

The setup steps are as follows:

1. Open Device Manager (Start-and-run input devmgmt.msc) and confirm that the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter driver is normal (no yellow exclamation mark) in network adapters.

2. Start->cmd and right-click to run as Administrator.

3. Set up virtual WiFi: Run command: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=yournetworkname Key=yourpassword

Here mode is allow, which means that virtual WiFi is allowed, and if it is changed to disallow, it is not allowed. SSID is the name of WiFi, key is password (more than 8 digits)

Then open "Network and Sharing Center"--"Change adapter settings" To see if there is more than one, if there is more than this "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter", then your front of the setting is true.

On success, the network connection will be more than one NIC for "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" wireless.
For convenience, rename it to virtual WiFi. If not, just update the wireless card driver is OK.

4. Set up Internet Connection Sharing:

In the Network Connections window, right-click a network connection that is connected to the Internet, select Properties → share, tick allow other ... Connect (N) "and select" Virtual WiFi ".

Once identified, the "shared" word appears next to the shared network card icon, which means "broadband connection" has been shared with "virtual WiFi."

5. Turn on the wireless network:
Continue to run at the command prompt: netsh wlan start hostednetwork
Of course you can create a new Notepad file copy: netsh wlan start hostednetwork then save as: Start WiFi hotspot. bat
The next time you start up, just run as "administrator" on the boot.

At this point, the virtual WiFi red fork disappears, WiFi base station has been set up, it is best to give virtual WiFi fixed IP, enter the virtual WiFi property and then enter the TCP/IP properties, the IP address can be set to 192.168.3.1 ( As long as you do not conflict with a shared network IP what IP segment is line) subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, to this host setup is complete.

For more netsh WLAN commands, can I use Netsh wlan? To view.
