This tutorial is about how WIN7/8 can share music photos and videos through media streaming, so let's take a look at the details below.
DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) has been established by Sony, Intel, Microsoft and so on to address the interconnection of wireless and wired networks for personal PCs, consumer electronics and mobile devices.
Simply put, through the DLNA technology, mobile phones, tablets, computers, televisions (or audio and other audio and video devices) can be connected to each other in a home area network, where music, photos and videos can be accessed from one another.
Now smartphones, whether iphones, Android or Windows Phone, or even Nokia N9 handsets using Meego systems, support DLNA sharing video.
Windows 7/8 provides support for media streaming, which enables the interconnection of media files between computers, televisions, and mobile phones using DLNA technology.
The following operating settings will enable Windows 7/8 to turn on media streaming support, enabling the Internet to be broadcast on the same LAN, computer, TV and mobile media files.

At this point, you will see that Windows has successfully turned on the media streaming feature, allowing you to set the name of the "Media Library" on your computer (the name will be displayed on other computers, mobile phones, or TV).
At the same time, Windows detects the devices that are found on the local area network that support playback media streaming, allowing you to choose whether to allow them to browse your media library (by default, all devices are accessible).
When the settings are complete, click the Next button.
In the HomeGroup Settings window, you need to set up media categories that allow other devices to access: Pictures, music, videos, documents, printers, and devices, keep the default permission settings, and click the Next button.
To ensure the security of the files, Windows randomly generates a password to secure the device and the document, recording this password (access to the media file is not affected).
Click the "Finish" button to complete the setup.
Windows Media Player provides access to other devices that open the DLNA share, while providing media resources for other devices to play on the computer.
Run Windows Media Player and click Media Streaming on the menu to select the last two options in the 3 options, that is, "Allow remote control of my player" and "automatically allow devices to play my media."
