Win8 How to turn off the password entry box "Password Display" button

Operation Steps:

1, Win + R combination of the "Run" dialog box, enter Gpedit.msc, OK, after the run open the Local Group Policy Editor window. There are two settings in Group Policy settings that control whether the password display button is displayed, a global setting that works on the password input boxes in all program windows, including IE windows, and the IE settings entry, which only works on the password input box in the IE window.

2, first say the global Settings item. Expand the Computer Configuration Management templates Windows Component credential user interface in turn, and in the right window you can see the "Do not show the password display button" policy setting. As shown in figure:

3. Double-click the setting and select Enabled in the Settings window that opens.

4, again for IE settings. Expand the Computer Configuration Management templates Windows Components Internet Explorer security feature in turn, and then locate the "Show password not displayed" button in the right window. As shown in figure:

5. Double-click the setting and select Enabled in the Settings window that opens.

6, after setting, you open a password input interface to see, you can find that the eye-like "Password Display" button. As shown in figure:
