Win8 is a Windows dual-host system (simple and easy to understand, with a successful test)

I have been using win8 for a long time, but I can't install win8 on virtual machines, but I don't want to upgrade win8 to win8. After all, it's just a Developer Preview version. I have no spare computers on hand to install win8, in the end, the only solution is dual system. After searching, I found a super easy way to install win8 on a dual-system. Here I have sorted it out and shared it with you.

　　1. download and install the image

Based on your current system, 32-bit is the next 32-bit, and 64-bit is the next 64-bit. I am using 3.6G, because I only want to experience it, so I don't need the version with developer tools.

You can download the Chinese Language Pack and two small software packages as needed.

Because we do not cover the original system, we need to separate one disk for win8. I will not elaborate on this one, because the last disk of my computer is always empty, so I skipped the partition step.

　　3. decompress and install the image

Note that the decompression address must not be the one on which win8 is installed. For example, if I want to install it on the F disk, the files I extracted cannot be extracted to the f disk, and I want to decompress the files to other disks, d disk, and E disk.

　　Run setup.exe

In this example, it is not the setup.exeunder the root directory but the setup.exe under the sourcesfolder. If an error occurs in this step, the installation will definitely fail.

During the installation process, note that you must choose "Upgrade" or "custom". Remember to select custom install (the second option) and then select the f disk, that is, the disk on which you want to install win8.

　　5. Long installation wait Process

The installation took about 20 minutes, followed by configuration and other operations. It took about half an hour. In general, the installation was very fast, you can refer to an article win8 installation in the garden. Because there is nothing to pay attention to, it is all in simple English. You can guess what it means by looking at it.

　　VII. Set the startup sequence

First, exit win8, enter the win7 system, press win + r, enter msconfig to open the system configuration, switch to boot, set win7 to the default value, and then prompt to restart.

　　8. reactivate win7

During the previous operation, the system will prompt that the system is not activated when you enter the win7 system, or a prompt will be displayed after the default startup Item is set to restart. In short, the system will prompt that Windows 7 needs to be activated. The solution is to use your previous activation tool and activate it again. However, I tried two or three of them and finally activated them with "Pony oem7F7". We recommend that you use this tool to activate them.

　　9. about deleting win8

It is very simple. As long as you enter win7 and format the f disk, It is the disk installed in win8, and then delete the win8 boot in the system settings, it will be OK, everything is restored to the original, as if win8 has never been.
