WINDOWS8 system When creating user accounts, you can create two types of accounts: a local account for your computer or a Microsoft account that you can use on all Windows 8 and Windows RT computers that you use. We recommend that you create a Microsoft account.
If your computer is in the domain, the user account you create can grant people access to your computer, but you cannot grant them access to the domain. Only a system administrator can create a domain user account.
To create a Microsoft account
The Microsoft account is the e-mail address and password that you use to log on to Windows. You can use any email address, but it is best to choose an email address that you have used to communicate with friends and log in to your frequented website. When you log on to your computer using a Microsoft account, your computer automatically connects to the people, files, and devices you care about. (If you need an email address, we can provide you with one for free.) )
When you log on using a Microsoft account, your computer will automatically connect to the cloud, and:
Your friends ' contact information and status are automatically updated with network locations like Hotmail, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
You can get and share your photos, documents, and other files from a network location like SkyDrive, Facebook, and Flickr.
Your personal settings (including your theme, language preferences, browser favorites, and most applications) are synchronized to any Windows 8 and Windows RT computers.
You can get applications in the Windows App Store and use them on up to five Windows 8 and Windows RT computers. (Some applications require a specific hardware configuration.) )
Follow the steps below to create a Microsoft account:
1. From the right edge of the screen to the middle light sweep, click "Settings", and then click "Change computer settings."
(If you use the mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and then move the pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change Computer Settings.) )
2. Click or click "User".
3. Click or click "Add User".
4. Enter the account information that the user used when logging on to Windows. There are two different ways to do this:
If the user you are adding already has a Microsoft account, you can enter the account information.
If the user you are adding does not have a Microsoft account, you can create a new account. Enter the e-mail address most commonly used by the user.
5. Click or click "Next", then click or click "Finish". www.xitonghome.cm
To create a local account
A local account is an account that allows you to access only one computer. If you create a local account, you need a separate account for each computer you use. None of your settings will sync up with the Windows 8 computer you are using, and you will not benefit from connecting your computer to the cloud. To download an application from the Windows store, you need to use a Microsoft account.
Follow the steps below to create a local account:
1. From the right edge of the screen to the middle light sweep, click "Settings", and then click "Change computer settings."
(If you use the mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and then move the pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change Computer Settings.) )
2. Click or click "User".
3. Click or click "Add User", and then click or click "No Microsoft account login".
4. Click or click "Local account".
5. Enter the user name for the new account.
6. If you want the user to log in with a password, enter and confirm the password, add a password prompt, and then click or click Next.
If your computer is in a domain, the domain security settings may allow you to skip this step, and if you want, simply click or click Next. Users can change their passwords at a later time.
7. Click or click "Finish".
