WIN8 system How to set fixed IP address
1, double click to open the computer, press CTRL+F1 shortcut key or click on the upper right corner of the hidden menu icon.
2, click-> Control Panel.
3, click-> to view the network status and tasks.
4, click-> Ethernet, select Properties, double-click Internet Protocol version 4.
5, Next we can see our familiar local IP address settings interface, where we choose "Use the following IP address", and then in the DNS address also need to fill in the DNS address, the settings here with the previous XP system introduced the same local IP settings.
Precautions:
When you set up DNS server addresses, you typically fill out the gateway for the local router.
The effective range of IP addresses can be viewed and set in the Router management interface (you need a username and password to enter the router's admin interface).
