WIN8 System low resolution how to run Metro applications?

Resolution in 1024x768 following machine open Metro application tip: The screen resolution is too low to run this application.

Reason Analysis:

Microsoft's restrictions on Metro apps are at a minimum of 1024x768 pixels, and Microsoft says the lowest resolution 1024x768 is designed to help developers create applications that fit all screens, a benchmark that allows developers to ensure that navigation, control, and content fit into the screen.

Solution:

1, win+r up the operation, input REGEDIT.EXE knock return, in the pop-up registry interface, tapping F3, in the search target input: display1_downscalingsupported knock return;

2, check the results of the search, double-click the value from 0 to 1, click OK;

3, restart the machine, will find that the screen resolution can be adjusted up to 1024x768/1152x864, recommended 1024x768 (the image will not be too flat, ordinary desktop looks can also).

Note: There is a risk to modify the registry to operate cautiously!
