1. When the computer finds "start" and then right-clicks it, a menu pops up.
2. In the pop-up menu, we click on the "Control Panel" menu.
3. Then we found "network and Internet" in the access to Control Panel only.
4. Then we find the "Network and Sharing Center" shown in the following figure.
5. Then we click the "Change advanced sharing Settings" on the left side of the pop-up window as shown in the following illustration.
6. Then we find "all networks" and you will find that there is an "arrow" we click on it, there will be different results.
7. Then here you will see a "public folder share" with a number of parameters, which we choose as shown in the following figure:
8. Then we simply "enable sharing so that users with access to the network can read and write files in public folders," and then click "Save Changes" below.
2. Set the file you want to share as a shared property
1. Now let's create a shared folder, as shown in the following figure.
2. After selecting the folder, we right-click it and click "Properties" in the pop-up menu.
3. We then click on the "Sharing" tab, as shown in the following figure.
4. Then in the entry to We click "Advanced sharing" as shown in the figure.
5. Then we click "Share this Folder".
6. Then click "OK" when you select "Share this Folder".
So our public folder sharing is set up, let's take a look.
