In the win8/win8.1 new operating system, Microsoft added a modern lock screen function. In the modern lock screen interface can provide users with time, network connectivity status, batteries and other information. Users who transition from Windows XP or Win7 systems to win8/win8.1 systems may not favor the modern lock screen, and each need to slide modern lock screen wallpaper to enter the Unlock interface. How do I disable the win8/win8.1 lock screen wallpaper feature? Below we use a simple way to disable the lock screen wallpaper, directly into the login interface.

1. Use the shortcut key (Win+r), start the Run window, and then enter Gpedit.msc to open the Local Group Policy Editor window;

2. Navigate to the path: Computer Configuration Management Template Control Panel personalization, select the right "do not show lock screen" option;

3. Double-click the "Do not display lock screen" option, in the pop-up dialog box, select the "Enabled" option, and then click OK.

4. Through the shortcut key Win+l lock the computer, you will find that the default use of modern lock screen wallpaper feature has been disabled, the system will be directly into the login interface.

Of course, if you need to adjust the modern lock screen wallpaper again, you can change it to disabled by using the steps above.
