1. Configure the server
1. connect two servers A and B. Two intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet hard jumper links, two Intel PRO

100 + connect to the hub with two network cables.
2. Open both servers and install Windows 2000 Advanced Server on both servers A and B.
3. configure Server A as a domain controller. If the domain name is server. com ).
4. Configure the IP addresses of the two NICs. For example, Intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet is set to 10.1.1.10 Intel PRO 100 +

111.111.111.10
5. Add Server B to the domain of server a in two ways:
A. When installing Windows 2000, the computer will prompt whether to join an existing domain, select add, and enter

Domain, select Custom installation, set the IP address intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet to 10.1.1.20, and Intel PRO 100 +

111.111.111.20. Then, the server will not prompt that it has been added to the domain and it will continue to install. This is different from NT 4.0.

Ii. Configure the powervanlt 201s disk array
1. pv201s has two Es em s cards, which are pulled out. Each of them has a patch cord jp8, which is used to transient jp8.
2. Connect pv201s with server a's prec 2/DC on the SCSI line. Enter the BIOS configuration disk array (pv201s) of prec 2/DC

RAID (usually RAID 5), and then select initialize settings.

Note: Server B is disabled at this time.
3. Configure clustre
1. Disable server B.
2. Open Server A, go to Windows 2000, and upgrade Windows 2000 Perc 2/DC driver as follows:
The Perc driver must be upgraded on two nodes. The following process describes the process of updating the driver:
# Update the perc driver
1. Choose Start> program> Management Tools> Computer Management.
2. Under [System Tools], select [device management].
3. Click SCSI and RAID Controller on the right panel.
4. Right-click AMI meagraid or Dell Perc 2/dc raid Controller and select [properties].
5. Click the [Driver] page and then click [update driver].
6. On the update driver wizard page, click [next].
7. In the list, select [display the list of drivers for known devices, select a specific driver], and then click [next].
8. Click [install from disk].
9. Insert a floppy disk containing a new driver to the floppy disk drive and click [OK].
10. Select Dell on the left panel, and then select the perc 2/dc raid Controller on the right panel.
11. Click [next].
12. If you have a driver warning form, click [Yes].
13. Click [next].
14. After the driver installation is complete, click [finish].
15. Select [Restart computer] and click [Yes] to restart the computer.
3. After Entering Windows 2000, configure the cluster as follows:
1. Choose Start> program> Management Tools> Computer Management.
2. Click [disk management] to view the current disk in the right pane.
3. The signature and disk Upgrade Wizard is automatically displayed. Otherwise, right-click the gray [disk 0] and click [Signature].
4. Click [next].
5. Select all disks and click [next].
6. If the disk does not need to be upgraded, deselect all selected disks and click [next].
7. Click [finish].

9. Right-click the first disk (Disk 0) and select [create disk].

6. Check the Cluster
# Check the Cluster
1. Choose Start> program> management tools and click cluster management. (In server B)

3. Minimize cluster management and move to server.
4. Select Start Menu> program> attachment> Windows resource manager. Z disk is available. Click Z disk to view Z disk of node.

5. Move to Node B and choose "start"> "program"> "attachment"> "Windows Resource Manager". The Z disk cannot be seen in Node B.
