For server requirements, Windows 2003 handles the default settings for hardware such as sound cards, video cards, and so on, although individual users often encounter "failures" when they use them
1. The picture is rough when playing the movie
Many friends have such a "encounter": their own computer configuration is quite good, installed Windows 2003 after the graphics card can be automatically recognized and installed, but the picture is very rough when playing the film, the installation of the latest version of the graphics screen quality is still the same.
Workaround: Right-click on the desktop, and then go to "Display Properties" \ "Settings" \ "Advanced" \ "Troubleshooting", drag the hardware acceleration cursor to the right to full, click OK to exit, and then select System Tools \ System Information in the attachment and select Tools \ DirectX Diagnostics Tool (because the program collects system information, you need to wait a bit, a splash screen may appear), select the Show tab, and then enable the DIRECTDRW acceleration and Direct3D celeration items.
2. Sound card does not work or sound lag
In Windows 2003, most sound cards continue to use their drivers in Windows 2000/XP, and the older sound cards (such as Dishing S90) are only manually installed. After installing the sound card, users often experience the following two problems:
1) The sound card does not work
Workaround: Go to "control Panel" \ "sound and audio control device", check the "Audio service" option, click "OK" and restart the computer.
2 Play the game when the sound of serious lag
Workaround: Go to the DirectX Diagnostics tool, select the Sounds tab, and drag the cursor to the right in acceleration level to full acceleration, OK.
3. IE always remind of the existence of security risks
When browsing through a Web page under Windows 2003, IE alerts you to a security risk and asks if you want to continue to visit each page, because the IE default security level setting in Windows 2003 is too high.
Workaround: Start IE, select Tools \ Internet Options, and set the security level to medium on the Security tab.
4. The system reacts slowly when running large software
Server and workstation requirements for system resources are different, if we normally want to run software such as Photoshop, you should reassign the system resources to be similar to the status of Windows XP.
Workaround: Go to the Control Panel \ System \ Advanced tab, in the Performance bar, click Settings \ Advanced, select programs in both the processor plan and memory usage columns, and then click OK and restart the computer.
