Many friends ask why the VPS opened, the default C disk only 10G, the rest of the remaining capacity where. Because the VPS of the Xensystem system is divided into two separate virtual hard drives, the system defaults to the first virtual hard disk (c disk) and 10GB size, the remaining space is in the second virtual hard disk, you can allocate capacity through Disk Management.
This is an example of a 40G standalone hard drive.
One, the default state, the system has only one partition
Second, right click on my Computer, find "management"
Third, click Disk Management
If the disk is not initialized, the disk initialization and Conversion Wizard is automatically ejected.
Iv. Initializing disks
(1) Enter the Initialize Disk Wizard
(2) Select Initialize Disk
(3) The initialization needs to be checked separately and converted
(4) Confirm initialization
(5) Initialization completed, second hard drive status changed to "online"
V. New DISK Partitions
(1) Right-click the Unassigned area and select New Volume
(2) Enter New Volume wizard
(3) Keep "Simple volume" (default)
(4) Set the size of the hard disk activation area
In general, keep the default, or set it according to your own circumstances.
(5) Assign the partition number
Default to E disk
(6) Format disk
Note that the "Perform Quick format" Check is selected to reduce the time spent in formatting.
(7) Complete the wizard
Vi. End of partition
When you are all right, you can see the newly activated partition.
