Windows 7 64-bit installation of oracle 11g R2 process, windows711g
1. Download Oracle 11g R2 for Windows
: Http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win64soft-094461.html
The package contains two packages: win64_11gr2_database_1of2.zip,win64_11gr2_database5of2.zip.

2. decompress the two packages to the same directory, that is, copy the database‑operated directory, and then click "Unzip setup.exe" in a single click:
Note: The image is online and the process is the same. However, my installation directory is D: \ Oracle, and the picture shows C: \ app \ Administrator.
 

3. In the displayed "configuration Security Update" window, cancel "I want to accept security updates through My Oracle Support" and click "Next ":

 

4. In the "Installation Options" window, select "Create and configure Database" and click "Next ":

 

5. In the "system class" window, select "desktop class" and click "Next ":

 

6. In the "typical installation" window, select the Oracle base Directory, select "Enterprise Edition" and "Default Value", enter the same password as Oracle11g, and click "Next ":

 

7. In the "prerequisite check" window, click "Next ":

 

8. In the "summary" window, click "finish" to install:

 

9. The installation process is as follows:

 

 

After the Database is created, the following "Database Configuration Assistant" interface appears:

 

Select "password management" to view and modify the following users:
(1) normal user: SCOTT (password: oracle)
(2) General Administrator: SYSTEM (password: oracle)
(3) Super administrator: SYS (password: oracle) 
After the modification is complete, click OK ".

10. In the "finish" window, click "close.


After Oracle is installed, services are registered in the system. The following services must be started in the registered services; otherwise, Oracle cannot be used properly: 

 

(1) OracleOraDb11g_home1TNSListener: Listener service. If the client wants to connect to the database, this service must be enabled. This service also takes effect in program development.
(2) OracleServiceORCL: indicates the master service of the database. Naming rule: OracleService database name. This service must be enabled; otherwise, Oracle cannot be used at all.

A. 32-bit Oracle 11g Client(win32_11gR2_client.zip) Installation notes:

Select "Administrator" when selecting the installation type, for example:

B. Notes for PL/SQL Developer installation:

Before installing PL/SQL, you must first install the Oracle client. 

My system environment:
1. 64-bit Windows 7 flagship Edition
2. 64-bit Oracle 11g R2 DB
3. 32-bit Oracle 11g Client (64-bit Oracle 11g Client error)
4. PL/SQL Development 9.0.6.1665

Note:
(1) PL/SQL Development should not be installed in the default C: \ Program Files (x86) Directory; otherwise, an error will be reported because the path with () cannot be parsed.
(2) When the Oracle Client is installed with a 64-bit Oracle 11g Client, an error is prompted when PL/SQL Developer is started.
Cause: the oci. dll is 64-bit, and the 32-bit application PL/SQL Developer cannot be loaded. you can install a 32-bit Oracle Client to solve this problem.
