Windows 7 command line setup wireless hotspot (AP)

In win7, if we want to set up a wireless hotspot ap, we only need a few lines of code to implement it. Next I will introduce you to the specific operation steps.

1. Check whether the wireless network adapter supports Virtual AP (supporting the Bearer Network ).

Note: if it is not supported, it will not be used. You will not need to read the following tutorial!

Start --- run (win + r), Enter cmd, and open the command window.

Enter netsh wlan show drive in the command line

Have you seen the "supported Bearer Network: yes", and this Nic is supported!

 

2. Create a "wireless network connection 2" using commands ".

Start --- run (win + r), Enter cmd, and open the command window.

Enter netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = AP key = 12345678 in the command line

After the above Code is entered, press enter (copy and paste is also acceptable, and you can right-click and paste it in the Command window). It may take a few seconds and there will be a prompt, as shown below:

If it succeeds, the bearer network mode is set to allow.

The SSID of the bearer network has been changed.

You have successfully changed the password of the User Key for the managed network.

Note: The AP in the red text is the wireless name (ssid), 12345678 is the wireless password, you need to change it!

 

 

3. connect to and share the Internet through a local wired connection!

Open Control Panel --- network and Internet --- network and sharing center --- change adapter settings, find local connection, right-click Properties --- share --- allow other users to connect through the Internet on this computer, select "wireless network connection 2" for the home network connection ".

Local Connection:

 

ADSL Broadband connection: (attach the share of ADSL, which is similar to the local connection, and you can modify it yourself)

 

4. Return to the command line and enter netsh wlan start hostednetwork.

In this case, you can use a Wi-Fi device to connect to this AP.

You need to re-run the command every time you start the system. If you are in trouble, you can enter the code in notepad, save it as a file with the suffix bat, and add it to the startup process so that it can be automatically started every time you start the system.
