Although the BD Blu-ray Disc capacity is huge, single-layer and two-tier can reach 25GB, 50GB respectively, but in the burning time, it is not necessarily guaranteed to fill all the space.
Microsoft today confirmed by a KB2575215 Knowledge base article that when trying to burn 23GB data to a bd-r single burning disk, or to burn 46GB data to a bd-r two-tier burning disk, the burn will not succeed and the following error message appears:
"There was a problem burning this disc. The Windows7 system download CD cannot be burned successfully. Verify that you have installed the latest firmware for your CD or DVD burner, and then try again. ”
If you foolishly update the firmware and try again, the results will certainly fail because this is not a problem with the burner, the burn disk, or the burning software, but the Windows 7 system itself has a flaw that does not correctly compute the write capacity of the bd-r burning disk, as is the case with Windows 7 SP1.
Microsoft has not yet given any solution to this problem, but advises users not to try to burn more than 22GB or 45GB of data on a single, Bd-r, two-tier burning disk. As for the update patch, wait.
