Windows 7 shared printer prompts "unable to save printer settings failed to complete error 0x00000d9"

The problem status is as follows:

For a shared printer in Windows 7, the error 0x00000d9 cannot be completed because the printer settings cannot be saved ".

Cause analysis:

The possible cause is that the service is not enabled, and the other is that the firewall is providing protection.

Solution:

Enable windows firewall

Method 1

1. Right-click the desktopMy computerAnd then clickManagementAnd open management;

2. On the computer management page, clickServices and Applications, findServiceAnd open;

3. Then, you will see a windows firewall option enabled.

 

 

Method 2

1. In the control panel, we also find "firewall", as shown in the following figure;
