Windows 7 system laptop is set to virtual WiFi hotspot ("wireless router ")

If there is only one network cable in the home, but two or more laptops need to be connected to the network, with the help of software, the laptop can be turned into a wireless router, which is a "WiFi hotspot".



Take windows7 as an example. In fact, it comes with WiFi and SoftAp (that is, a virtual wireless AP) function. Just activate them and you can turn your laptop into a "WiFi hotspot" and let other laptops connect to it. Get your laptop online.



After turning on the "switch" of the wireless network card of your notebook, perform the shortcut key win + R → enter "cmd" → Enter as the administrator. Then enter the command "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = binglanPC key = binglanWiFi" in the opened command prompt and press Enter. This will initially enable and set the virtual WiFi network card.



PS: This command has three parameters. mode: Whether to enable the virtual WiFi network card, or disable it when it is changed to disallow; ssid: wireless network name, preferably in English (using binglanPC as an example); key: wireless network password, more than 8 characters (this article uses binglanWiFi as an example).
