In Windows 7, the game handles the win key + r key in this way. In the running window, enter regedit and press Enter. In this way, the Registry Editor is opened and the following locations are located: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ controlset001 \ Control \ graphicsdrivers \ Configuration \ right-click Configuration, select search, enter scaling, and find scaling in the right box, right-click scaling and change the value to 3 (the original value is 4). This method basically kills the full screen problem of all Windows 7 games.
Or:
After changing to Windows 7, when I started war3 and found something wrong, the Warcraft interface could not be full screen, and there were big black bars on both sides of the display!This problem was previously encountered in Windows XP because of the graphics card model or graphics card driver.
The solution for enabling war3 to support the wide screen is as follows:
In "start"-"run", enterRegedit, Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Blizzard Entertainment \ Warcraft III \ video]
Set the "reswidth" and "resheight" key values for the screen. Select "decimal"
Step 1:Open start -- run; enter "Regedit" and click "OK" to enter the registry;
Step 2:Find and click "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Blizzard Entertainment \ Warcraft III \ video" on the left;
Step 3:Find the "reswidth" subitem on the right, select "decimal", enter "1600", click "OK", find the "reshight" subitem on the right, and select "decimal ", enter 900 and click OK ";Step 4:Exit Registry Editor.
Note: 1. After using the above method to modify the resolution, do not set any more in the "options" of war3. Otherwise, your resolution will be returned to 640*480. In this case, please go to the Registry again and manually set the resolution. 2. The advantage of manually setting the resolution in the registry is that the font display has no stretch.
