Some users have a flash (auto shutdown) problem when they click IE when the system is upgraded to Windows 8. This may be a problem because there are other browsers in the system that cause some conflicts because we are prompted to set it as the default browser when we install another browser. Small series installed a variety of browsers and then set them to the default, but did not try to specify which browser is caused, it is possible that some computer management software or anti-virus software to the browser defaults to the lock, you can determine that the problem is set on the default value.
However, there are solutions, and the method is very simple.
First, if you install Computer Management software or anti-virus software, we recommend that they should be retired, and then we in the IE10 browser address bar to enter the following address, press ENTER to open.
Res://ieframe.dll/defaultbrowser.htm
Then click the "set as default Browser" button in the Web page to set IE as the default browser.
If the above method is not valid, we can try the following workaround in turn:
Method one, reset ie.
Use the desktop IE open any Web page, click on the top right gear icon, select Internet options;
Select the "Advanced" tab and click the "Reset" button to check "Remove personal settings".
Click "Reset" to reboot the computer.
Method Two, it is recommended that you try a clean boot, shut down third party software or services, and see if the problem can be resolved.
Press the "Windows +x" key combination to select "Run";
Enter "Msconfig" (not including quotes, can be copied directly), press ENTER;
Go to "System Configuration", select "Service", check "Hide all Microsoft services" in the bottom left corner, click "Disable All", click "Apply";
Click on the "Start" option on the "service" side and click "Open Task Manager".
On the list of startup items, right-click and select "Disable" To disable all startup items;
Close Task Manager, and then click OK under the System configuration interface to restart the computer as prompted.
