Windows 8 Preliminary feeling: no big feeling

The SAP software was originally installed with a single word, and the preview version was released on Windows 8, so the machine was located in Windows 8. After downloading the ISO file, we started preparing for early adopters, just remember some of your feelings and it's messy. Let's take a look:

1. for virtual machines, Microsoft's virtualpc does not support video card hardware acceleration. Virtualbox is always unable to be installed. According to the online teaching materials, CPU must be required to support virtualization technology. This is basically not the case of pulling X, the virtualization technology of CPU support means that 64-bit systems can be installed in virtual machines, and I cannot install the same 32-bit system.

We recommend that you download the newly released VM workstation 8, which is very popular. The installation is very smooth. Go directly to the official website to download it. Just fill in some information and give the trial key for one month. It is enough to play with Windows 8. Note that when creating a VM, do not create an ISO file for the installation disc in advance. Otherwise, the VM will automatically perform unattended installation. If no key is installed, an empty virtual machine will be created first, then, load the ISO of the disk.

I installed it on a virtual machine, but it is recommended to install it directly. If the metro style is not smooth, it is a joke. This is the key of my vm8 VM.

2. The first half of the installation process is the same as that of win7. After all, there is no time to change this part. There is a difference from the account part. The style is changed to Metro, which means the color is very eye-catching and the word is very big, A small amount of information.

 

3. You can directly use the message live account as the system account. M $ is a tough trick. In the future, every computer will be a natural IM client. I don't know if it will be monopolized, however, I guess a QQ is still installed in China.

 

4. The installation process is more complex than before, but it is still relatively simple. the most annoying thing is to provide a security question answer. The whole Win8 is like a website.

 

5. After the installation is complete, you can directly enter the system. There is no such process as restarting. This is very commendable. This is just like an operating system, and it is always necessary to restart the system to make people feel healthy. However, the UI is not automatically adjusted to the optimal resolution, but the degree of completion is still a problem.

 

6. Currently, Win8 is a traditional UI (win7) and Metro on the semi-walled River. The windows button degrades to the interface switch, and the Start Menu disappears. Besides the resource manager and control panel, in the traditional UI, the portal is not found in the browser (you can directly find the portal in the folder)

 

7. Metro is used for tablets. It feels weird to operate without touch screen. You can perform the following operations with the mouse:

1. Drag the app positions on the interface. This is very fun, but it cannot be played for 2 minutes. It is like a mentally retarded puzzle game.

2. Click any app to change the app. The metro style is eye-catching again. The single color and big font of the screen are blurred by the 19-inch display.

3. Place the cursor in the lower left corner of the original windows button and a small menu appears. You can set, share, search ", and return to the Metro desktop (similar to the unique Button Function on the iPhone)

4. Full Screen operations are performed on any app by default. Right-click the app and call the corresponding action. For example, right-click IE and choose enter URL address bar.

5. The app icons on the metro desktop support dynamic display, such as weather. You can right-click the app icon to change the size (some cannot) and play the puzzle game easily.

6. The app can unlock the interface and disappear. Then, it does not know how to add it back.

7. The app store is not yet available

8. The control panel in the traditional UI has the metro version, but the degree of completion is very low. Many settings can only be viewed and cannot be changed.

9. ie has the metro version. You can refer to the browser operation mode of the iPad and then weaken the function.

10. The resource manager does not have the metro version. Click back to the traditional UI and check whether it is finished.

12. Although Hotmail is used for Account Login, there is no place to view the relevant IM messages and emails. This should not be integrated yet.

13. Place the mouse on the far left of the screen. The currently started app (including the traditional UI, which is also an app) will become a small window and be dragged directly to the center for display. 8. For the overall review of Metro, it is a bit $ B to play with the mouse. It should be nice to use a touch screen, but whether it can surpass the iPad is a bit skeptical. Whether Metro's immersive style is suitable for desktop computers (desktops and laptops) is questionable.

 

9. The resource manager is very good. It adopts the Office menu mode. Many common operations do not need to be pulled by right-clicking or pulling them. It seems that M $ is still very powerful on the traditional interface.
