Microsoft released the Windows 8.1 update last month (KB2919355), and if you are using a Windows 8.1 system with Automatic Updates enabled, the update will be installed automatically. With this update, Microsoft also announced that, starting from one months (mid-May), all Windows 8.1 systems could only receive additional updates after the update (KB2919355) was installed. Today, Microsoft issued its latest statement, saying that although most Windows 8.1 users have installed KB2919355 with Automatic Updates, some users are still not installing it. As a result, Microsoft postponed the change to June 10 to ensure that the vast majority of Windows 8.1 users were able to get a follow-up update. That is, after June 10, users of Windows 8.1 must first install KB2919355 to obtain additional system updates, including security updates. For more information, you can view the following statement:

In addition, it should be noted that this change is only for Windows 8.1 systems (including Windows RT 8.1), and Windows 8 or earlier operating systems are not affected.
