Windows Azure turns off virtual machines through PowerShell

the previous blog post introduced Windows Azure 's login management approach with web portals and PowerShell management, and today we'll cover how to use PowerShell To control the opening and closing of virtual machines

First, install Microsoft Azure SDK and connect to Azure, as described before, here is not detailed

Open PowerShell

Enter GET-AZUREVM to view the current virtual machine information

Enter get-azurevm–servicename "Testcloud" –name "testvm01" view testcloud cloud service testvm01 Virtual machine details, we see the current virtual machine is in the boot state

We shut down the TESTVM01 virtual machine by command STOP-AZUREVM command.

-servicename: Cloud service Name

-name: Virtual machine name

View Virtual machine Status

Turn on virtual machines via START-AZUREVM

Completing the Virtual machine boot
