However, Azure Web site can provide both shared mode and exclusive mode .

(1) Complimentary (free)

-If the customer's computing resources are shared with other users in free mode, they are not exclusive. That is, the free Web site resource is sharing the CPU with other users.

-Only one Azure account can create up to 10 Azure Web Site of type free.

-In free mode, an azure Web site can use a maximum storage size of 1GB

-In free mode, the scale-out feature is not supported in Azure WEB site

-In free mode, Azure Web site is not guaranteed by SLA

　　(2) Sharing (shared)

-If the customer's computing resources are shared with other users in shared (free) mode, they are not exclusive. In other words, the resource of the shared Web site is to share the CPU with other users.

-Only one Azure account can create up to 100 Azure Web Site of type shared.

-In shared mode, an azure Web site can use a maximum storage size of 1GB

-In shared mode, Azure Web site supports scale-out functionality and supports up to 6 shared instances across the landscape

-In shared mode, Azure Web site is not guaranteed by the SLA

-If the customer's computing resources are exclusive in BASIC mode

-In basic mode, there are three types of compute resources available for exclusive access

A SMALL:1CORE/1.75GB RAM

B MEDIUM:2CORE/3.5GB RAM

C LARGE:4CORE/7GB RAM

-An Azure account can create an unlimited number of azure Web Site types for basic

-In basic mode, an azure Web site can use up to 10GB of storage size

-In basic mode, Azure Web site supports scale-out features and horizontally supports up to 3 exclusive instances

-In basic mode, Azure Web site supports 99.9% SLA

-If the customer's computing resources are exclusive in standard mode

-Three types of computing resources available in standard mode

A SMALL:1CORE/1.75GB RAM

B MEDIUM:2CORE/3.5GB RAM

C LARGE:4CORE/7GB RAM

-An azure account can create unlimited multiple types of azure Web Site

-in standard mode, an azure Web site can use up to 50GB of storage size

-in standard mode, Azure Web site supports scale-out features and horizontally supports up to 10 exclusive instances

-in standard mode, Azure Web site supports 99.9% SLA

3.Azure Web site is not a persistent virtual machine (non-persistent VM)
