Windows can basically leave-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Author: polaroid
The company has been down windows server for two consecutive times. Although it has no impact on the company's business, it has a great impact on the company's normal operations. When I first went down, I used windows xp professional. As a result, I cannot work for 7 hours. The second time I went down, I used ubuntu 8.04. As a result, my colleagues who use windows are all dead and I can continue to work diligently.
There are many linux geek in the company. On the day windows server was down, geek installed cute ubuntu. Now I will say goodbye to windows.
To be honest, I also came here step by step. I was totally mad at the latest vista. Windows xp is fine, but it is estimated that the system will start to slow down in less than a month. The reason is that windows does not know how to access many junk files. Then you know what the virus is. As a result, you spent a lot of money installing what Kabbah, what Norton, what drug overlord, and oh shit. After you find that you are finally safe, the high-price anti-virus software installed on your computer will eventually become the biggest virus. I don't know what anti-virus software is doing, but it is consuming cpu efficiency. When you find that the system slows down, other people will tell you that your cpu is slow and you want to add memory. In fact, they are all nonsense. Do you know that a P 430 laptop is installed with debian at the same speed as a desktop with windows PIII 1.x?
Why should we use windows? Most people only access the Internet, watch movies, and listen to music. Now we can do everything on ubuntu, and everything is smooth. Even the office software we use when working, openoffice can work very well.
The laptop thinkpad x60s configured in the company. One is installed with debian, and the other is installed with windows xp. Similarly, it takes three times to use windows xp.
