Windows Azure domain name bindings

The IP of Windows Azure virtual machines can change, such as when you turn off the computer. So the binding domain name with a record is not very reliable.

When you create a new virtual machine, you will also create a new cloud service that gives you a two-level domain name like XX.cloudapp.net.

This way you can use the CNAME, which is the domain name alias, to point to XX.cloudapp.net to bind the domain name.

My new domain name is shared with the Internet (European cuisine) www.yiqi.eu is directed by a CNAME.
