Windows Remote Desktop printer mapping

Computer printer driver can print, need to meet two conditions, one is the print driver itself, one is to have a connected port. The print job is then encapsulated by the print driver as a form of organization that the printer recognizes, then sent to the printer via a print port and then printed!

So when this Remote Desktop for Windows (MSTSC) is connected, how does it provide printer mappings?

1. After you open the Windows remote connection, after selecting local resources, there is a printer option, which is checked. Then enter the IP address of the remote computer, if the remote computer is allowed to be connected remotely.

When the remote connection is OK. Because the printer mapping is checked, a print port is mapped between the remote computer and the local computer, noting that this is only a port. If the remote computer here (Figure 2,3) has a suitable (x64,x86) remote computer with the same type of print driver on the local computer, Windows will automatically establish a port connection, 4. Redirects are displayed above the driver. If there is no suitable print driver in Figure 2, 3, you can add a print driver. For example, the local computer is a 32bit operating system, but the remote computer is a 64bit operating system. At the remote computer, you need to add 64bit of the same model printer (FX apeosport IV C5575) print driver. In this way, the same type of printer that is mapped locally on the remote computer is gone.

So the essence of it is to install the print driver on the remote computer and then use the port map of Windows to send the print job to the printer via the port of the local printer.
