Windows Server AD Site and Domain Deployment Series (iii) Creating sites, subnets, and links

This chapter blog begins by creating a BJ, SH, GZ site on the root domain ds01 side, configuring subnets and links between related sites.

To create a site:

1, rename the default site: Login ds01, open "Active Directory sites and Services", right click on the default site default-first-site-name, select Rename: Bj-site-name, such as:

3, create a new site Gz-site-name, so right click on "Sites", select "New Site", select the link object, click OK, such as:

4, Pop-up confirmation dialog box, prompt: "Add subnets and site links for gz site", click "OK".

5, the same step, create a site: Sh-site-name, at this point, three sites to establish the completion. Such as:

To add subnets:

1, the site created good , you need to add subnets for each site, because each site is scoped according to different subnets. Right click on "Subnets", select "New Subnet", select the corresponding site according to different network segments.

2. Create a BJ Station Pips network:

To create a site link:

1, the site link for different sites of the same domain between the DCS synchronous update, expand "Inter-Site Transports", right click on "IP", select "New site link."

2, create a BJ to SH site link, such as:
