1. Select a server as the time synchronization server.

2. Run regedit to open Registry Editor.

3. Locate the registry key hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\w32time\config\, and in the right window, change the value of AnnounceFlags to 5.

4. Continue to locate the registry key Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\w32time\timeproviders\ntpserver\, In the right window, modify the value of enabled to 1.

5. On the command line, enter "net stop W32Time && net start W32Time" to restart the W32Time service.

6. Modify Windows Firewall settings to allow UDP connections on port 123.
