In the Windows Live for mobile service and feature list, I have introduced the update list of the mobile Windows Live online service in wave3, windows Live photos for mobile, Windows Live profile for mobile, and Windows Live people for mobile among the four new mobile versions of Windows Live wave3, and the updated Windows Live home for Mobile:
Windows Live photos for Mobile: Photo album and photo browsing: You can view photos of yourself or friends, album, Photo details, and add comments on your mobile phone. Upload photos: publish and share photos through the camera mobile phone, and there will be a client. What's New: view a friend's new album, photo, or new photo comment.
Windows Live profile for Mobile: View friends, manage friend invitation requests, send SMS invitations to friends, update status, and what's new.
Windows Live people for Mobile: integrates with contacts on mobile phones (requiring mobile phone support) and searches for contacts on the web.
Windows Live calendar for Mobile: Get calendar schedule via SMS (available in early 2009 ).
The Windows Live photos for mobile home page provides the what's new module and links for uploading photos and my albums (bottom left ). The lower-right figure shows the image album page, displaying square thumbnails and other photo album links.
I also gave an official introduction to the Windows Live for mobile wave3 service. I believe you have seen the mobile photos album browsing interface and the photo uploading interface.
You can download and comment on a single photo on the Image Browsing page. You can also switch to the previous or next one:
Windows Live people for Mobile provides simple contact search and browsing functions, but it is a bit uncomfortable that groups and contacts are mixed together. In addition, the status icon in front of the contact does not seem to indicate whether the contact is online. It seems that this feature can be seen only when Windows Live Web Messenger for mobile is updated. For Windows Live people for mobile, you can view the invitations you have received. You can directly reject or accept the invitations (as shown in the following figure ).
Click "E-mail" of a friend to enter Hotmail for mobile to write a new email, and "Profile" to enter Windows Live profile for mobile (picture on the top right). In addition to viewing friend information, you can also view the other's what's new, photos, and spaces.
In general, the Windows Live for mobile wave3 interface is quite good, except for the new mobile Edition Service and Windows Live home for mobile, other services, such as spaces for mobile, hotmail for mobile hasn't been updated yet, and the photos client hasn't been found yet. It seems that it will take some time to wait.
Official announcement: Windows Live for mobile is here!
